I knew there was a source. Finally found it in my mess. http://www.google.com then type Oswego (NY) Newspaper Index 1820 - 1855+ When the list comes up, click on the top line and it will take you to this source. Go down a couple paragraphs and click on Search the Index. This is just "short" excerpts from the newspaper, but it might help someone that really wants to look way back. Dorothy
