HI Carol and Eric-- I will check with the Parish Historian, Bridget Swartz and a few of the Lewis' from Parish. I know there is a "Lewis" scrapbook around, not sure if it is at the library or with the family. I will look into this. Lydia Ann (Bishop) Lewis, died October 9, 1993. Lydia's SSDI also lists Syracuse, Onondaga, New York, but I know she lived basically in Parish. Clark Lewis, died December 1978. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My GGGrandmother's brother was Abraham Brooks. He married Sophronia Crim. Sophronia Crim's first husband was Alonzo N. Lewis, Clark's grandfather. Clark's father was Andrew Lawrence Lewis and he married Mary Catherine Pickens. Mary's brother Alvinzie Albert Pickens was married to Frances Martha P. Brooks - Abraham Brook's sister. It's all a little complicated, but I'm happy to share any of this. I have some photos of Clark and his family if you are interested. I did not have the information on Clark's wife Lydia, so I will add that to my records. I would be interested in any info that you may have - especially on the Brooks of Pickins families.
