Ah, if only the Catholic Church would realize the gold mine they are sitting on with all of us hungry genealogists wanting to get to see our ancestors records! I knew a pastor of a very large parish in NYC with an old burying ground who said sure, I could come in and transcribe those cemetery records into a database. Unfortunately, he left before I could get to do it. So, it is an individual parish thing I guess. Thanks for letting me know about St. Mary¹s. Sue
