Dennis White Dennis White, the third child of Amasa Daniel White and Polly Tyler was born ca. 1826, place unknown. In 1830 he is living with his parents in Sandy Creek, Oswego County, New York. Either Dennis or Daniel White is not with the family in 1840, and we prefer to think that Dennis is the one who is not living with them at that time. In 1850 we are a bit more certain, for his name is not among those listed. In 1860, Dennis White is living in Monroeville, Lynn Township, Huron County, Ohio, and has Amasa White, Jr., and Lydia, his wife living with him, as well as a child which could belong to Dennis by the name of Elaine White.
