Syracuse Herald-Journal, Friday, Dec. 29, 1978 CLARK LEWIS PARISH - Clark Lewis, 76 of Montgomery Street, Parish, died Wednesday evening at a local nursing home after a long illness. Bom here, he was a life resident. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and of Republican Lodge 325 F&AM. He is survived by his wife, the former Lydia Holbert; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Stoddard; two sons, Lawrence of Florida, and Richard of Philadelphia, Pa.; several grandchildren; a brother, Andrew; and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Degarmo and Mrs. Doris Spedding. Services will be at 2 p.rn. Saturday at Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at tbe funeral home. Lewis, 89, died Saturday at the James Square Nursing Home, Syracuse, after a long illness. A native of Chester, Mass., Mrs. Lewis resided most of her life in Parish. She was a member of the Parish United Methodist Church, Puritan Chapter 165, OES, and the auxiliary of Russell Horning Post 601, American Legion. Surviving are a daughter, Joan Stoddard of Port Richey, Fla.; two sons, Lawrence of DeWitt and Richard of Philadelphia, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Harter Funeral Home, Parish. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish. Calling hours were Monday. Contributions may be made to the Parish United Methodist Church or the Lisa Ann Stoddard Award, in care of Douglas Meridith, A-P-W Central School.
