    3. Gloria...Have you found Jesse and Ellen Stowell on the 1880 Fed Census, Alexandria, Jefferson County ED 104 pg 26 (image 26 on Ancestry)?.They have a daughter named Anna 9 years old. I am searching Solomon Stowell (Stoel)b.1775 in New Hampshire. He was in Champion, Jefferson Cty in 1810, Brownville 1820. Orleans Twp, Jefferson cty in 1830. Not able to find him after that. His son Solomon Jr. was my gggrandfather. Solomon Sr. had a brother named Jesse who migrated to Madrid, Essex Cty and raised his family there. I wonder if there is any connection? If there is please let me know. There were other Stowells who came from Canada. I don't know if there was any connection to them.
