I heard on the news last night one of three DPW crews is to be relieved due to money constraints -----Original Message----- From: dorothy baker [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2003 2:45 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NYOSWEGO] Oswego County Historian's Office, How to submit data It doesn't seem to matter what part of the country one lives in, there is always one misguided individual who thinks he has an easy answer to the county money problems. In your case he got rid of a woman that more than earned her salary. You only have to look at your county road crews to see money wasted--one works while three watch him work. He would have been better advised to get rid of some of the fat cats on the road crews and keep a woman that really brought history back to Oswego County. One could say "Oh well, that's his loss, but it isn't--it is ours". I would not volunteer to help him either. Is he an elected individual? Genealogists have long memories.
