WHat a shame that Budget costs are now affecting what is a wonderful and useful research for Oswego County research. Will the county end up like the ones in Illinois where it is almost impossible to find any information on genealogy? If so, it is a sad time for Oswego County. A wonderful past Volney historian, Byran Rowlee, has helped me so much with great records of Mt. Peasant cemeteries, especially the Ives connections and his is simply a love of genealogy and helping people. When all the "knowledge" is gone, what do we do then?
