Eng (living next door to Henry and Miriam (Chivers) Hale) Chivers living in Volney Josiah Chivers 37 b.England Emaline 37 NY Nancy 9 NY Syble 1 NY Passenger list, ship "Elizabeth" 31 May 1849 Joseph Chivers US from Ireland age 45 ---------------------------------- My Miriam Chivers married Henry Hale and they resided in Volney until Henry died from wounds suffered at the battle for Cedar Creek, VA in 1864.
