Hi folks, Could someone with access to the 1875 census of Oswego County please tell me if Duncan FRASER is enumerated, please? Hi was a Scottish immigrant to Canada, and he and his wife Margaret "Maggie" Cheney" moved very briefly from Ontario to either Town of Scriba or Town of Williamstown, Oswego co., sometime after 1870 (so I can't find them in the U.S. 1870 census). (They had a son John Farley FRASER who later live din Theresa, Jefferson Co.) Duncan died around 1876 or 1877 while Maggie was pregnant for their second child (George). After his death, Maggie moved back to Canada and lived with her brother at Mallorytown for the remainder of her years. Because of the timing of their move to Oswego County and of Duncan's death, the 1875 census is the only shot I've got at finding record of Duncan in the U.S. He may have been enumerated as Richard Duncan Fraser. Thanks for any help! Sincerely, Mark A.
