    3. I use Netscape. Since last week, all my List messages arrive as attachments and each one on the Digest form has to be brought up separately in order to view. Sorry to ask a computer problem but I have been unable to contact help at Netscape. Any suggestions? Thank you. Corinne

    3. I get the same thing with Outlook, but I find it to be a good thing. The first attachment contains the subject lines of all the others. If none are of interest, I can delete the entire thing without endless scrolling. (This is why topic specific subject lines are so important.) Or I can read individual attachments, delete those that don't interest me, and save only the ones that do. It is also easier to reply to a specific message, as it's the only thing on your screen, limits the amount of text copied from the original to just the topic at hand, and the subject line pertains to the topic, not just "NYOSWEGO-D Digest V03 #187." If I save a message in my mailbox for future reference, Outlook even lets me change the NYOSWEGO-D subject line to make it easier to remember why I saved it. Perhaps your email software has a similar feature; but even if it doesn't, your mailbox file size will stay much smaller if you keep only the posts of interest. If you subscribe to a lot of lists, it adds up. 3. Judy in Ocala, Florida > Researching Worden, Perry, Kennedy, Thorp, Lamb, Hill, Dumas and > Bothwell in Oswego County Judy : Are you researching KENNEDY family in Oswego County, New York? Would your Kennedy family line have any connection to James Kennedy and Mary Wood Kennedy from Ireland during the 1840's? They lived in Hannibal, Oswego County, NY. Mary Wood Kennedy died in 1891, and is buried in the Hannibal Village Cemetery. Their daughter, Mary Kennedy, was my great-grandmother. She was married to Gilbert Jonas Shutts. I have been concentrating on the SHUTTS line, but do have some info on the Kennedy line. I would be interested in contact with anyone else doing research with the Kennedy or Shutts lines.
