Hello again! I am trying to take my genealogy line a little farther back and have hit a wall. I am looking for anyone who has more information on Jacob Bargy's second wife....Alltha?, Aletha? Bettinger. I see on the census that there were a lot of Bettingers in the Jefferson/Oswego areas but cannot find anything on her. She is listed on the 1870 census that she was 51 in that year so think her birthdate is probably around 1819. She was the mother to Andrew F. Bargy who is in my lineage. Can anyone please help me?
