Is there anyone that can tell me where to look for records to see if someone was exhumed from Rural Cemetery and reinterred in St. Peter's Cemetery. I have already checked with both of the cemetery's offices and have had no luck there. Specifically I am trying to confirm the burial place of Lucius FRANCE (1883) and Edith ARDEN (1902). Rural Cemetery has records stating they were buried there but they are unable to locate the graves; there is a cliff where the graves are supposed to be, as if there was a landslide. St. Peter's Cemetery said they have no record of burial at all, there is just a monument with his name, along with some other family member's names who are definately buried in the plot; and they have no positive proof that he is there too. If they have in fact been moved from Rural it would have happened after 1902 because the ARDEN obit said burial would be in Rural. I have no other possible burial places for Edith ARDEN anywhere. I would appreciate any help or points in the right direction to solve this mystery. Tammy __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
