My system file structure was damages by some people who were using a mass down loader to down load thousands of files from this site, this occurred in the last 2 or 3 days (nov 7-9 ) I lost many directories that will have to be rebuilt.......for the life of me I can not figure out whey they wanted to do this !!!!! I put this site up for every one to use as a FREE resource on Historical Newspapers and other Documents >From New York State and paid for it out of my own pocket not to count my labor , I find this very discouraging !! Dear Tom - I can't believe this has happened to your wonderful website. I found some wonderful civil war news articles, obituary, business ventures etc. on my grx3grandfather. Found obituaries on his children, wife, father - I could go on and on.
