Mabry, I would love to see what your guidelines are. I have just lumbered along without any real direction and I just happen onto things. I rely heavily on my two programs, Family Tree Maker and GenSmarts. Once said, I have had two hard drive crashes without adequate back up..Yikes. Thank goodness for fellow researchers and the wonderful way that they share. Vera
