Not as far as I know. My Thompsons came from Bayonne, NJ in about 1870and were only in the City of Oswego for about 50 years before scattering all over the country. I do have a John Thompson that I can't account for after around 1915. He was in St. Paul and I don't know what happened to him after that. I don't know much about the Cranes after they left Oswego City, but I have a 3rd cousin who posts on here who does. I can tell you they came from Ireland around 1845. We seem to be relative newcomers by New York standards.
