Hi Bob, My G Grandfather was Conrad Loos, the wine merchant in Syracuse. I have his ancestry, if anyone is interested. I received it from Chris Cristinson. I have Conrad's gold watch, and the trunk he used when he came from Germany. I can send pictures if anyone is interested.I also have his Civil War Pension records. Charlie Gilcher worked my father's optician office for many years. I remember him clearly.
