I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mabel A. PRUDOM which was taken at the A. J. Richards Studio in Medina, NY in 1900. Mabel appears to be in her teens at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Mabel and her family: Mabel or Mable A. PRUDOM was b. 7 Jul 1884 or 1885 in Niagara, NY to parents Thomas C. or K. PRUDOM (1854-1924) and Emma BIRD (1860-1926). Mable or Mabel was one of 7 children born to this family including, Nina R.; Mabel or Mable; Grace May; Ruth J.; and Bernice; George Bird; and Harald or Harold A. PRUDOM, all born between 1881 and 1901. It appears that her father may have had a child from an earlier marriage as well, a daughter Pauline PRUDOM. Mabel married Frank M. HOAG (1880-1959) and she died 20 Mar 1972 in Buffalo, NY. Census records provide the following information regarding the family: 1900 census of Ridgeway, NY: - a Servant in the home of Walter & Madge GRAY Mabel PRUDOM, age 15, born Jul 1884, born NY, parents born England/NY, a Servant 1910 census of Royalton, NY: - a Servant in the home of Cornelius & Lizzie W. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
