Open to the Public. Join us as Heidi Bamford, Regional Archivist for the Western New York Library Resources Council, presents “Researching Military History on the Internet.” This presentation will focus on finding those local connections and “voices” from the past that help increase our understanding about periods of significant military conflict. From great military leaders to everyday foot soldiers and from the French & Indian Wars to present day global conflicts, we will explore the sites and resources available on the Internet today. Attendees will discover the ways in which individual experiences have been preserved and documented, and how they have enduring value for us today and in the future.
