Hi, This is Dee Robinson, Historian Town of Gaines, Orleans County. The property that is referred to is the eastern part of Lot 15 in the Town of Gaines. Lot 15 includes the area at the intersection of today's Rt. 279 and Rt. 104 (Ridge Rd.). I believe his lot was just east of the intersection on the north side of the Ridge. Hope this helps a little.
