Thank you very much. That was a very sensitive way for the newspaper to report his death; he committed suicide by hanging himself. I was born on that same day. Please scan and email it to me, or mail the paper copy to 6406 Dunnavant Place, Huntsville, AL 35806 Ed In a message dated 3/1/2010 5:53:25 P.M. Central Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Hi Ed, I found the obit for Harold H. Stone in the Albion Advertiser Thursday September 14, 1950 p.7 it reads: "Harold H. Stone died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 6 at his home in Carlton Station, aged 61 years. He was a member of the Albion Lodge of Elks and Masonic lodge and the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Brooks Stone of Carlton; a son, George Stone, of Albion; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Marshall of Hamlin, and Mrs. Erva Burdett of Germantown, Md., a brother, John Stone, of Rochester, and seven grandchildren. Services were held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the McNall Funeral Home, Rev. W. A. Nixon officiating." Hope this helps. If you want a hard copy I can send it out - just send me a mailing address. If this email is enough just let me know.
