HI Listers, Back in 1904, my grandmother was supposed to have been adopted by the family of William Singleton and his wife, Orilla Simonson Singleton. Upon the death of his wife, my grandmother found out the adoption was never finalized. I know that William Singleton was the son of John and Eliza Singleton. I know that William has the following siblings: Elizabeth, Lillie, Rose and Frances. Would anyone know what might have happened to his sisters and who they might have married. In the 1855 census for Ridgeway, I also found an Elizabeth Singleton, who is listed as a widow. I am trying to figure out if she is the mother of John and if the Hannah who married William Housel is the sister of John. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mary Flack
