Hello Everyone, I am new to your list and I am hoping you can help me with info about my Gr, Great Grandfather, Harrison Poole. I have sometimes found the surname without an " e". I am particularly interested in finding out who his parents and ancestors were. I am listing what I know about him below. Harrison Poole born 1814 Orleans, New York Parents- He lists on Census records that his Father was from VT His Mother was from CT Their names are unknown Wife- Malinda Brace born 2 Dec. 1819 New York Died 21 June 1898 Iowa Her parents Chester Brace and Acenith Strong. Both of these families are well documented on Ancestry.com Harrison and Malinda's Children- Chester born 1840 Orleans County, New York Rosella born 1842 Orleans County, New York Judson born 23 Jan 1847 Michigan Loran born 16 Sept 1850 Michigan Albert born abt 1852 Michigan Frank born 14 Aug 1859 Iowa As you can see the family lived in New York, Michigan and Iowa. My great grandfather, Frank Poole moved his family in the early 1900's to Washington state. Any info you may want to share with me would be most appreciated.
