Linda, If your not aware of Family Search Labs (http://labs.familysearch.org), you might give it a try; select "Record Search".  In my search I entered Harrison Poole, all events, 1800-1880, New York, and had 15 hits.  You will notice that in the left column a page icon may or may not appear.  If a page icon does appear click on Record Image in right side and an image will appear.  Good Luck....
