I can't tell you how much I appreciate the work you have done and made available to all of us who are tracing our families. It is particularly important to me, since I live on the Pacific Coast, and have only been to Upper State New York a half-dozen times. My ancestors farmed in the area, and thanks to you diligence I have been able to find much information about the Henry, Stangland, Cary, Barrows, and others which I was seeking. Sharon, Others have said it better, but I'll just add that I belong to approximately 20 county genealogical web-sites, and the Orleans County NY web pages are the best I have encountered. The state census enumerations, the cemetery inscriptions and vital records on this site have allowed me to trace the Orleans descendants of one branch of our family down to the mid-20th century.
