John Brown, b. 4/29/1780, d. 5/1/1842 married (1/1/1804) Olive Rudd, b. 1/29/1783, d. 4/15/1849. I am trying to determine all of their children. I'm pretty sure Jackson J. Brown (who married Phebe Davis) and Johnson Brown who married Lavina Whitemarsh were possible sons. I would appreciate any source information proving that and any information on any other children of theirs. I'm 99.9% sure that Susan Jane Brown, who married Reuben Cheney Starkweather, was a daughter according to the Family Sketches from "Landmarks of Orleans County, p. c101. Susan was an aunt to my g g grandfather, Merritt Ives. I would also greatly appreciate any information pertaining to Susan and Reuben's children. Thank you ever so much. Lynn in Ohio
Hi, Can anyone tell me of the book named above? What dates does it cover? Some of my Sherman's are buried in Shelby Cemetery I'm trying to find out more about them. Nathan died in 1820 after which his wife and children moved to Queensbury, NY. Thank you.
