I looked it over and both of my brothers-in-law are missing, their names are as follows: Vincent L Fortunato Born in Medina , August 1923, died Medina October 1970. Served in the Air Force 1943 to 1946 with the rank of Sgt. Louis Fortunato born Medina October 1926. Served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 with the rank of 3rd. class Petty officer. COLE from that area about 25 Dec 1859. His parents were Timothy COLE and Betsey CANFIELD. I am not related to the CANFIELD name, so I do not have any further info on Betsey. If you are related, it would really help me to know where this family was about 1840ish. I have a Civil War pension reference, 1850 and 1860 census records. Thanks.     2. David Bullard moved to Gaines from Vermont abt 1814, Brigadier, William, and Judith came abt. 1812. Judith Bullard married John Witherell, born abt 1785 Richmond, Ontario, David was born 1813 and Darius 1816 in Richmond. The Bullards were early settlers to Orleans county. Judith or Juda Bullard Witherell at some point moved to Ontario county.
