Hello, I was wondering, if anyone had any information on a Patrick Barber? He was born about 1720 in County, Longford Ireland, and he died Sept. 28, 1791 in Montgomery Town, Orange Co. NY. He was married to a Jane Fraser. They are both supposed to be buried in Goodwill Presbyterian Churchyard, Montgomery, Orange Co. NY. I have info that states he was chosen Assessor for the Hanover Precinct (later Montgomery, Orange Co. NY) on April 5, 1768. He came to NY in 1749 or 1750, and after a short stay he moved to Princeton, NJ. I found him listed in the 1790 census for Montgomery, Orange Co. NY. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
