Do you have any other information like dob etc. Their is a old book out of print entitled The Swartwout Chronicles by Arthur James Weise published in 1899 it takes the Swarwout/Swartwood family all the way back to 1338(available at Library of Congress) . Also Robert Swartwood researched the Swartwood family and compiled 2 volume on the Swartwoods the first one was published in 1997 and the second one 2001 both of them are available in the Library of Congress Washington.
