Supposedly Sarah Vail (b. 1763) was the d/o Gilbert Vail (1739-1779) and Hannah Arnot (b. abt 1740). Now, here's a new hypothesis. Checking on Sarah/Sally, I find the following in Coulter (p.13): "July 5, Dr. Eusobius Austin Webb from Pres. Church Goshen died. Sept 15. 1889 in 78th yr. Sarah C. Webb his wife from Pres. Ch. Goshen d. Sept19,1884 age 72 yrs." Does it not seem likely this Sarah C. Webb is the same person as your Sarah Crain/Crane? If so, then either your Sarah-Festus marriage is questionable...OR (ta ta TAA ta TAAA!)...unless Dr. Eusobius Austin Webb is the same person as Festus A. Webb! In fact, I'd bet on it. Note that my recent message says both Festus and Andrew are mentioned in the Crane will. Well, they are also mentioned together in the April 1820 will of Samuel Webb, where Andrew is named as a nephew (of Samuel) and son of Samuel's brother Charles. Still no info on where Festus (Eusobius) fits in with the other Webbs. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
