If you are looking to check St. Francis or St. Mary's records in Newburgh, I would do it right away. Last year the Archdiocese decided to close several churches and St. Francis and St. Mary's are on the list. They just handed down a decision a month ago and they reserved judgement on these two churches till later. When that will be we don't know. They want to close St. Mary's and make St. Francis a satellite church of Sacred Heart which means it will do special occasions but there won't be a priest there and they won't offer services.
