I too have family who died of this flu, my grandmother, my Aunts husband, she was left with twins, and two other children, she kept the baby, her husbands sister raised the boy , a twin died, the other was adopted. and when you mention soldiers over seas, my husbands Uncle died in France, Oct 1918.he is buried there in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, we do not know if he was a casualty of the war, or got the flu.
