I've "rescued" an old photograph which is identified as Danny CARVER which was taken at the J. E. Le Roy Studio in Newburgh, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Danny likely about 6 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of Danile or Daniel CARVER b. in Newburgh, NY to parents Howell H. CARVER and Gertrude D. BLOOMER. I find the family in census records as follows: 1900 census of Newburgh, NY: Howell H. CARVER, age 42, born Oct 1857, married 26 years, born NY, parents born NY, a Milk Dealer Gertrude CARVER, wife, age 43, born Jan 1857, married 26 years, 3 children/3 living, born NY, parents born NY Daniel CARVER, son, age 23, born Feb 1877, born NY, a Farmer Andrew CARVER, son, age 19, born Nov 1880, born NY, a Milk Dealer Gertrude CARVER, dau, age 18, born Feb 1882, born NY 1910 census of Newburgh, NY (living next door to his father and sister and brother Andrew as well (Mother deceased): Daniel CARVER, age 33, married 10 years, born NY, parents born NY, a Diary Farmer Isabelle CARVER, wife, age 36, married 10 years, 2 children/2 living, born NY, parents born NY Eleanor CARVER, dau, age 6, born NY Howell D.
