I searched tonight for Lillian in Florida census records 1935 & 1945 (the next earlier is 1885). No likely suspect, I'm afraid, for Lil* GREATOREX, Lil* BEARD, Lil* PHILLIPS, or Lil* MACOMBER. I looked for John GREATOREX in the FL census, also, without luck. Do you have access to US Federal Censuses, 1920 & 1930? Perhaps one or the other will pop up there. Do you have access to UK Censuses? UK vital records? British military records? I found some for a John Henry, what since it seems to be a whole file. Didn't read them, though. What about passenger manifests? I saw tons of US & UK censuses for GREATOREX, along with military records for others of the name, numerous vital records, etc. Would any of these other kinds of documents help you or do you already have them?
