Folks I am looking for John W. Wood and his younger brother Robert J. Wood born 3 years later according to the 1870 Census that lists the parents Andrew and Julia Ann (nee ?) Wood. I located these two brothers and 2 sisters (Deborah and Charlotte) in the census which lists them in Tarrytownship, Mount Pleasant 1837 and Sleepy Hollow in 1850, Westchester County. I found them again with in NYC probably Manhattan in the 1870 census with an additional sister Gertrude age 17. I have not found the parents in the 1880 census but think that maybe a clue of John W. married in Orange County to Eliza. John gives his age as 37 and Eliza is 40 no children were found if this is my second great grandfather's siblings. Bye the bye James Andrew is the oldest of this brood and I have tracked him from birth area to burial in Rye, Westchester County in his wife's family plot at Greenwood-Union. I am hoping that someone in Orange county lists can point me to more info on John W. Wood or his wife Eliza so that I can at least confirm or jettison this family from my research. All that I have to go on is the middle initial and the correct birth year for 3 different census enumerations. Daniel
