As to the Smith family, I would like to know about Sarah Smith and her husband John Parse, where they were married and who were their ancestors and where from.  The couple may have lived in Sussex Co., and also were registered in a baptist church near Amity, Orange Co., NY.  Their oldest son was born ca. 1767.  They had 10-11 children, so perhaps Sarah Smith was born in the early 1740s.  Thank you for any information.     Sharon
