Hi all: First, I apologize for the cross-posting, but I would just like to make sure that as many people as possible see this. After visiting the Yonkers Public Library for a few weeks, I have created an index of obituaries published in January through March of 1950. The index is comprised of 578 names, and lists a person's maiden name, if applicable, date of death, date of publication, location of death, as well as any interesting notes. Please note that this is an index to obituaries only; if a person only had a death notice, they are not included in the index. I will be happy to do look-ups for anyone who might believe that a relative died during this period; just e-Mail me as much information as you have and I will take a look.
