I've seen this name in that area, but I believe some had it with an "i" as in Gardiner.? I will have to check my notes, but I believe it was associated with the Osborn family as if that name witnessed a will, married into the family, or owned land near the Osborns.? I need to check my notes and see if I can determine why it is so familiar to me.?
