    3. Hi Mark, The Ameliasburgh area of Prince Edward Co. Due to records being lost for this area we are all trying to put the families of the Revolution era back together. As it is there are so many Clark families came that I do not at this time know if they originally came in through Niagara or Kingston. I do know from the 1852 Census for Percy Twp.,Northumberland that his ethnicity is German so that has helped a bit as there were also a lot of Scottish and English Clark's . I know from the land records that when he bought land in Percy Twp. in 1849 he was a "cooper" of Ameliasburgh.As far as we know his children are all supposed to have been born in Consecon,Prince Edward Co. Ont. We are also wondering if they were maybe Quaker's as some of the German/Dutch were. Thank-you for answering as every little bit helps.
