Carol, I have Esther Rainey md Samuel Gillespie abt 1769 either Ulster or Orange County. Samuel is my direct line and I have documented. Esther's parents were James/Sara Rainey. They had the following children; Martha, Samuel/Catharine McBurney, Christiana/William McBurney, David/Susanna Yokely, Esther/Samuel Gillespie, Hesia, Ruth, Mary, Susanna/Gavin Millar. There is a Rainey Cemetery in Pine Bush. Also try the History of Orange County, NY complied by E.M.Ruttenber & L. Clark. I have more.
