I am trying to verify some info...another researcher claims that Temperance Ann WISNER Slauson and her husband, John SLAUSON, are buried in "Port Jervis, NY". Temperance died in 1874 and John in 1842. The other researcher could provide no further details. I realize that Port Jervis is a large place with more than one cemetery, and I live in Washington state...a bit far to check this out myself. Is there someone local who would be willing to locate this couple for me and verify their dates of death? I would be glad to reimburse that volunteer for gas and parking associated with this request.
