The "Early Wills of Orange County" book only covers >>> wills <<< 1787-1830. There are many entries in the surrogate court index for people who left no wills. Specifically, letters of administration are granted when no valid will is found. There is an 1828 letter of administration for Clarissa Moore, Liber F, page 24.
