Hi, all- I am looking for information about the family of William K. Gray, b. about 1822 and Frances/Fanny Grannis, b. 1827 in Goshen. They were apparently married in Goshen about 1845, though that information is from an LDS Ancestral File and therefore unverified by me! I have William K. Gray's birthplace as East Orange, NJ, but I am not certain of that, either. I would love to exchange information and try to work on more solid evidence for these families if anyone is interested! It looks like the Grannis family came to Goshen in the early 1800s and married into the Dains family--specifically, Julia Ann Dains, b. 1793 in Goshen (any Dains researchers out there?). And for any non-Gray/Grannis/Dains researchers...if you have any suggestions for publications I ought to be consulting, that would be great! I live in Minnesota, but can order OCGS publications online if any of them seem like they will help. These Grays, in particular, have been giving me fits for several years. They are almost as bad as the SMITHS I have--two big, messy branches of those (though not OC ones!). Thanks--and happy hunting.
