Hi, I am new to the list and am trying to start researching three family lines that are connected to Orange County New York. I don't know too much about these lines. James Taylor married Melissa Carpenter in the mid 1800's at Pond Eddy New York. James and Melissa had a son Joseph Levi Taylor my grandfather.(b1877) Joseph Levi Taylor married Elizabeth Dorrer/Doerrer. They lived in Uniontown and Port Jervis for many years. They had the following children: Blanche, LaDorra, Lulu, Matthew, James (1900-1944) and Agnes(1903-1997). Joseph and Elizabeth and four of their children are buried in New Lebenon Pa. Elizabeth did have a brother Jim Dorrer/Doerrer. His wife's name was Martha and they had four daughters. I am interested in any information about the above surnames. Thanks so much, Jim Taylor
