Hi, I'm just new on this list (but don't know how I've missed it before!). Among the many objects of my interest is to find what became of Samuel Carpenter, son of Carman Carpenter and Mary Webb, born probably about 1780-1785 in Goshen. Samuel married Clarissa __________, and I have a deed by which they sold land in Minisink in 1815 to Peter Mills. Any hints of what became of Samuel and his family would be greatly appreciated. (Leads on ANY Clarissa born in OC around 1780s and spouse not accounted for as of 1814 would help.)
