Eager's "History of Orange County" (p.110) lists William Albertson and Joseph Albertson among "early tenants of the glebe" in Newburgh, apparently prior to the grant renewal of 1752. Does someone know whether any original documentation survives from such tenancies? Or if not "original," then some compilation of specific dates and places? (Also, does "tenant" in this case mean a renter in the modern sense, or is the meaning more like land-holder?) Robin
