I'm trying to help an 81-year old lady from Ohio, who requested my assistance finding an ancestor. I have access to OCGS, but thought I'd query those of you who have other personally-owned resources, which the research room may not have. She is looking for parents, etc., of Abigail Wood b. 1776; d. 18 Sep 1839. She was from "one of the small towns around Newburgh", was what she wrote. (I've written her a letter, asking for further detail, if possible.) She married David Belknap b. 5 Jan 1777; d. 5 Feb 1853. Anything at all about Abigail would be appreciated.
