Any of you that have reference books regarding the early history of Orange County, is there any information concerning Philip McCONNELL? He died in 1818 in Warwick and left a will in which some nine children are named. He was one of the subscribers to help pay the cost of the building of the Amity Presbyterian Church (Amity, Orange Co.) in 1796. He was also voted and certified and legally elected and chosen as a Trustee for the congregation, 21 April 1797. He was my 5th great grandfather. I have no name for his wife. She must have already been deceased when his will was written. If anyone can help me learn more about this person, and his family, it will be much appreciated. Philip McCONNELL's daughter, Elizabeth McCONNELL married William CRABTREE. >From then on down the line, I have information but nothing above Elizabeth except her siblings names and her father's name and will. Elizabeth was born in Orange Co., NY in 1787/88. She died 8 April 1875 in Sussex Co., NJ. Thanks for any help. Mona in IN
