At one time, it was a village within the Town of Deerpark. Sparrowbush is located between Port Jervis and Monticello, within the Town of Deerpark. The two places are not/were not the same. The Town of Minisink lies between Port Jervis and Middletown, including Roxbury and Slate Hill. I'm not sure of the location of Sparrowbush cemetery, and do not know of Honesville. Honesdale is across the Delaware River, in Pennsylvania. A line due west from Port Jervis would reach Scranton, PA; it's the path of Interstate 84 - Honesdale is a ways north of this line, a little more than halfway towards Scranton, which is the nearest city. Nevertheless, because of the NW to SE direction the Delaware River flows, Honesdale is probably only about 15 miles from the river.
