Hello OC Researchers: One of my several ongoing searches is for Samuel and Clarissa Carpenter, last seen in an 1815 Minisink sale to Peter Mills of 42 acres in Minisink. (For those with geographic interest, this land was part of a Benjamin Aske tract, right on Jogee Hill; neighbors Daniel Albertson, William Fullerton, Christian Schultz and Holloway Stephens.) I have no idea who Clarissa's family was, and ask if you know of ANY Clarissa (or "Clara," "Claire," or other derivatives) born in Orange County between 1780 and 1795, would you let me know? If I can just know who all the "candidates" are, perhaps I can sort out which one is the one. Robin
